MEASURING APPARATUS USED FOR DETERMINING AN ANALYTE IN A LIQUID SAMPLE, COMPRISING POLYMER ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS
Sensor circuit to register an analyte in a liquid sample has a test element (4) with a test field (2) on a card (1) to take the liquid sample. Test element has a change through the specific analyte which is sensed by a detector (5), which generates a corresponding electrical signal. The test element...

Summary: | Sensor circuit to register an analyte in a liquid sample has a test element (4) with a test field (2) on a card (1) to take the liquid sample. Test element has a change through the specific analyte which is sensed by a detector (5), which generates a corresponding electrical signal. The test element and the detector together form a biosensor. Preferred Features: An evaluation circuit (6) establishes the analyte measurement through the detection signal, to be shown on a display (7). A power supply (10) with a solar cell (11) and a storage capacitance (12) provides the energy for the electrical components, which are at least partially formed by polymer electronics, as integrated plastics circuits (IPC). A control (8) prevents the test element being used for further tests. |
