Summary:Process for recovering valuable metals from super alloys comprises using an electrochemical treatment in which the electrolysis stream is subjected to a frequency of 0.005-5 Hz. Preferred Features: The super alloy contains cobalt (Co), nickel (Ni), chromium (Cr) or aluminum (Al) as the main component and tantalum (Ta), rhenium (Re), tungsten (W), molybdenum (Mo), hafnium (Hf) or platinum (Pt) as the secondary component. The super alloy preferably contains 1-10 wt.% Re. The electrolyte is an oxygen-free inorganic acid. The treatment is carried out using a voltage of 2-6 V with a constant electrolysis stream.
