Summary: | 985,184. Camera cases. KODAK Ltd. Nov. 11,1963 [Nov. 30, 1962], No. 45316/62. Heading G2A. An ever-ready carrying case for a camera comprises a first strip 1 of flexible material, which wraps round the front, sides, and back of the camera, and having an opening 2 in alignment with the camera objective, and a second strip 7 of flexible material which wraps round the front, back, top and bottom of the camera. The two strips are fixed together as shown in Fig. 1, by a rivet 8 and one element 9 of a press stud fastener. Strip 1 is normally wrapped permanently round the camera, its two ends meeting at the back, and secured in position by the engagement of a press stud element 6 on strip 1 with another press stud element on strip 7. Strip 1 has a further aperture 3 for access to the shutter speed control, and also has two reinforcing metal strips 5. Fig. 2 shows the case opened ready for using the camera, after which strip 7 is folded up round and over strip 1,and fastened in the closed position (Fig. 3, not shown) by a press stud element 11 engaging with element 9. |
