Summary:947,323. Games. H. J. CHAPMAN & CO. (ADGLOW) Ltd. Feb. 19, 1962 [Feb. 28, 1961], No. 7211/61. Heading A6H. Apparatus for playing a game comprises a projectile 1 and a target board 2 both of which comprise magnetic material, the magnetic material of the projectile being magnetized so that it adheres to the board as a result of magnetic attraction between the two. The projectile is further constructed from a flexible material such as rubber, synthetic resin or paper, treated with ferrite powder for example to give it the requisite magnetic properties, the flexibility of the projectile precluding the possibility of its rebounding from the target board. The board may consist of a sheet of ferrous metal, paper board or cardboard treated with ferrite powder, or may comprise a sheet of thin board or paper backed with magnetic material.
