Summary:925,639. Mounting spinning rings. O. STEINWANDT, [trading as CHR. MANN MASCHINENFABRIK]. Feb. 20, 1962, No. 6592/62. Class 120 (2). In a ring spinning-machine in which a tubular ring rail 12 also supplies lubricant for the wick 15 of each ring 1, each ring holder 2 has a lug 11 through which the wick passes and which mounts the ring holder to be adjustable relative to the rail. The adjustable mounting is achieved by providing elongated holes 14 in lug 11 through which securing screws 13 pass. The rail may have any cross-section which includes one flat outer surface, e.g. triangular, the lug 11 being suitably cranked to engage with the said surface.
