Summary: | A system for deploying a fibre optic sensing system including a marinized deployment package that is marinized comprising a connection housing 170 for connecting the deployment package to a subsea tree, a valve 172 disposed on the connection housing, and a chamber 176 connected to the valve, a cap 178 attached to an end of the chamber opposite the valve and one or more optical connections 624 disposed within the cap. A self-propelling vehicle 174 is disposed within the chamber with a downhole sensing fibre 132 connected to the self-propelling vehicle. The system may be connected to a remotely operated vehicle (ROV) that is connected to a floating vessel. The downhole sensing fibre may be connected to the optical connection in the cap, which may be connected to an external communication fibre 626. |
