Summary:A telescoping leg assembly 200 with pivot apparatus comprising first (108, Figure 2B) and second (110, Figure 2B) telescoping legs having a compartmentalized sleeve component (124,126; Figure 2B) and an extension section (128, 130; Figure 2C). The assembly further comprises a pivot apparatus 208 configured to attach the sleeve portions of the legs; the compartmentalised sleeve components divided longitudinally into a first space 204 and an adjacent second space 206. The pivot apparatus extends into the second space of the first leg sleeve component and into the second space of the second leg sleeve component; and the pivot apparatus comprises first (212A, Figure 6B) and a second (212B, Figure 6B) leg mating components, the first leg mating component engageable with the second leg mating component, the first leg and second leg mating components rotatable with respect to one another when engaged. A nut 210 is positioned within each second space; and the first leg and second leg mating components are engaged with their respective nuts through an exterior wall of the second spaces of the first leg sleeve component and the second leg sleeve component.
