The WS12-releasing contact lens comprises a polymeric lens body and 0.25 µg to 10.0 µg WS12 releasably adhered to the polymeric lens body. The WS12-releasing contact lens can be comfortably worn by a symptomatic contact lens wearer and can increase the duration of comfortable lens wearing time and/or reduce lens awareness events and/or reduce contact lens dryness in a symptomatic contact lens wearer.
