Summary:System for comparing interaction data 22 includes at least one mechanical interaction element 3 configured for interaction with the user and a sensor 15 configured to measure the interaction by a user with the at least one mechanical interaction element so as to obtain interaction data. A data storage unit 18 for stores previously acquired interaction data relating to the user, and a processor 16 is configured to compare the obtained interaction data to the stored interaction data. The interaction data may be one or any combination of force, displacement, or time data. A characteristic may be derived which is indicative of the identity of the user and said derived characteristic may be used in the comparison.
