Summary:An attachment 10 for a hair care appliance comprising an air inlet 12, outlet 14, a wall (18, figure 6) defining and extending about an airflow path between the inlet and the outlet, and a plate 26 located in the airflow path to guide airflow towards the outlet. The plate divides the airflow into two, which may be equal sections, the plate comprises a plurality of through holes 34, which may be annular, extending between the airflow sections. The through holes may be in a plurality of rows and may be staggered. The plate may be planar and may have a non-linear wave-shaped edge 28 proximate the outlet. The wall may be annular, tapered inwardly towards the outlet, and disposed about the longitudinal axis. There may be an external wall 40. There may be space for an RFID tag, and the attachment may be secured magnetically to the device.
