Summary:A vacuum cleaner 300 is provided for cleaning a surface, the vacuum cleaner comprises a main body 60, a wand, a projection surface 34 and a projector 40. The wand has a connector end for connection to the main body and a cleaner end opposite the connector end. The projection surface is mounted on the wand via a slidable element 90 that is freely moveable between the cleaner end and the connector end, for displaying projected information thereon. The projector is configured for casting a projection comprising the projected information onto the projection surface. The projector may also be mounted on the slidable element.
