Summary:A female snap connector 120 (Figure 1) for making a snap-fit connection comprises a base 124 and a cap 121 which opposes the base; the female snap connector further includes a socket 122 suitable for receiving the stud of a co-operational male snap connector 150; the base material of the female snap connector comprises a conductive polymer; the socket is set to deform elastically for complying to the passage of the stud within the socket during insertion and removal of the stud in the female snap connector; the socket narrows along its length to a pinch 128 and broadens out to a rim 127 on the side away from the insertion direction 114 and a recess 125 is included between the rim and the surrounding base. The cap may be divided into several parts 121 separated by gaps 123 (Figure 1). An electrode unit 100 comprising an electrode 130 and a body 110 mechanically connecting the electrode with the female snap connector and a conductive passageway 140 for electrically connecting the electrode and the female snap connector is also claimed (Figures 3 and 4). A telemetric device 1000 (Figure 7) and wearable device are also claimed.
