Summary: | A method and apparatus for an anchor 100 for use downhole. In one embodiment, the anchor includes an upper portion 110 and a lower portion 120. In a run-in position, the anchor has a smaller outer diameter and in a set position, the anchor has a larger outer diameter. A slip assembly 200 includes at least one slip 205, the slip having a longitudinal axis parallel to the longitudinal axis of the anchor and rotatable relative to the anchor along its longitudinal axis. The set position is achieved by the lower portion 120 moving axially relative to the upper portion 110. |
