Summary:Equipment for services interconnection of a tractor trailer combination comprising a services plate 11 slidably mounted to a beam arm 8, the beam arm being slidably mounted to a rail 5 which in use is mounted to the front wall of a trailer TY. In use the services plate slides back and forth transversely of the front of the trailer intermediate the sides of the trailer 3,4 during transit of the tractor-trailer combination. The beam arm is selectively deployable while the tractor-trailer combination is stationary to locate the services plate projecting beyond one side of the trailer so as to enable change of the service lines (SL, Fig.3) inter-connections 12 to be made from ground-level (see Fig.5). The equipment further comprises a latch 20 mounted to the beam arm and operative automatically to permit or block movements of the services plate in dependence upon deployment or otherwise of the beam arm. The apparatus may further comprise a lock (62,63, Fig.13) to lock the latch. A spring-mounted return bearing (31, Fig.6) may be used to pull the services plate back towards a centre of the slide rail through tension in a bungee cord (33).
