Summary: | A gown 1 comprising a body covering with an opening 6 in the back from the neck down forming a first 2 and a second 3 panel, a portion of the first overlapping the second; further comprising at least one elastic strap 5 connected at its ends 4 to the first and second panels respectively. Preferably the gown comprises a weight 7 on the first placket to hold the gown in shape. The first panel may extend around to the side of the garment (figures 4-5) to a further securing means 14. It might comprise sleeves 11 with finger and thumb apertures to retain on the hands. The garment is particularly suited for a surgeon or other medical practitioner as it can be donned and fit securely without having to manipulate the rear or deal with ties etc. |
