Summary:The invention relates a method and system for connecting customer(s) and supplier(s). The method comprises receiving supplier data into a database from at least one supplier, the supplier data including a supplier type identifier, supplier availability, and supplier location data. A wanted services request (12) from a customer is received, the wanted services request (12) includes a service identifier associated with a wanted service, and service location data. The database is provided with an association between supplier type identifier(s) and service identifier(s). The database is queried to identify potential suppliers for the wanted services request (12) by matching at least one supplier type identifier with the wanted service identifier and the service location data with the supplier location data. Availabilities of the identified potential suppliers within a predetermined time period to carry out the service are provided to the customer. The customer selects an appointment having an associated date and time from the availabilities of the identified potential suppliers within the predetermined time period.
