Summary:A powder dispenser comprising a tube 13 of circular cross-section, an auger 12 extending axially through the tube and a disc-shaped distributor 14 extending laterally to the axis of the tube and partially closing the tube. The distributor comprises a central ring and arms extending radially thereof, with the central ring having a radius of between 55-90% the internal radius of the tube. At least one of the arms extends to no more than 1mm from the internal wall of the tube and a distance defined by a circular arc, concentric with the tube, between each arm at a distance of 1mm from the tube wall of between 30-65% of the internal radius of the tube. The disc shaped distributor spins and is connected to the auger. The central ring of the distributor comprises at least one aperture.
