Summary: | A touch display device includes a display panel configured to have a plurality of data lines, a plurality of gate lines, and a plurality of common electrodes. A driving circuit is configured to supply an uplink signal to at least a subset of the plurality of common electrodes disposed in at least a first region of the display panel during the display blank period to enable a pen, or stylus, to detect the uplink signal when the pen is in contact with or is adjacent to the display panel. In another embodiment, a touch display device comprises a touch controller configured to sense a first region of the display panel that is not in contact with a part of a human body, such as a palm, and a second region of the display panel that is in contact with the part of the human body. A driving circuit supplies an uplink signal to the first region and not to the second region. |
