Summary:A vehicle 100 includes a pair of cameras 104, 102 disposed on the vehicle and oriented to view an entrance 106 to the vehicle. The vehicle also includes a processor 110 configured to compare a profile image of a passenger's 108 facial feature from one of the pair with a frontal image of the passenger's facial feature from the other of the pair. The processor is configured to lock the entrance to the vehicle in response to the facial features being different. The processor may be further configured to provide a three dimensional (3D) model of the facial features, the possible features being a nose or a chin. Another independent aspect of the invention is similar to the above, wherein the vehicle is disabled if the facial profile does not match. A final independent aspect relates to a vehicle comprising a processor for processing a facial profile from a pair of cameras, and in addition taking into account a mass of an object disposed in the vehicle and providing a notification to the passenger if the object remains in the vehicle if the passenger has already left the vehicle.
