A plurality of participant units are communicatively coupled to the instructor unit by a remote connection. The instructor unit enables the instructor to remotely control the virtual environment of a plurality of participants involved, while maintaining a good overview of their mental state and progress via a spatial state sensor module 235. A communication facility 150 allows the participants to send messages and transmits instructor messages.
