The zeolite crystals may have a mean crystallite size of 0.05 to 5 microns. The silica-alumina ratio may be 10 to 35. The zeolite does not have framework metals other than aluminium but may have post-synthesis exchanged ions of one or more transition metals such as copper, manganese, iron, cobalt and nickel.
