Summary:A spatial location system comprising at least two antenna arrays, a transmitter and a receiver. The system capable of steering the pointing angles of at least three antenna lobes such that they intersect or overlap. The method of using the arrangement consists of angularly steering first, second and third antenna lobes in first second and third planes. During the steering of the lobes a parameter of a signal from a user device is measured to identify angular directions for the user device for each of the antenna lobes at a particular point in time. The location of the user device is determined by the intersection of the angular directions for each antenna lobe and the location information transmitted to the user device.
