Summary:A method of composite moulding including placing reinforcement fibre 5 between a mould surface 6 and a flexible diaphragm 3 and causing upward movement of the diaphragm to produce a resin flow channel 14 along which resin is caused to flow. A reusable element (20, fig 2-4) , preferably in the form of disc with a chamfered edge, formed with a plurality of resin flow channels (27, fig 2-4) is positioned beneath the flexible diaphragm to direct resin under the membrane. The reusable disc 20 is preferably placed on top of fibre mats in alignment with the resin entry port. Preferably, in use a vacuum pressure is supplied to pipes 9 and 10; as a result, the pressure P2 provided by incoming resin in inlet pipe 11 results in an upward deflection of diaphragm 3 into a free space within chamber 2 resulting in the formation of flow channel 14.
