Summary:A securing system for mounting a panel 4 to a support 2 so a first surface 40 of the panel is visible from an aperture 3 in the support comprises a panel edge seal 5, a panel back plate 6 and a panel securing spring clip 7. The edge seal provides a seal between an edge of the aperture 3 and at least part of a periphery of the panel, the edge seal having a first portion 50 which seats on the periphery of the first surface 40 of the panel and a second portion 51 seating on the periphery of a second opposite surface 41 of the panel. The panel back plate 6 is positioned to contact the second surface 41 and hold the second portion 51 of the seal against the second surface. The panel securing spring clip 7 has a first arm 71 which abuts the panel back plate and a second arm 73 that abuts a projection on the support 8 so that the panel back plate is biased towards the aperture and the seal towards the window edge thereby holding said panel in position in the support frame. The panel may be a solar panel and the support may be an illuminated bollard.
