Summary:The present invention describes a flip storage for storing small articles inside a vehicle, preferably configured in the center console (200). The flip storage includes a first member (10), a second member (20) and a locking means. The first member comprises at least one storage compartment with an opening, is secured on an interior portion of the vehicle. At least one second member is secured to the first member at a side portion (12) enabling the second member to swing around the side portion between a first position for which it closes the opening of the storage compartment (300) and a second position for which it gives access to the storage compartment. Further, a locking means (40a&b) is provided for securing the at least one second member against the first member this may, for example, comprise a pair or magnets, a hook and loop arrangement or a press fit lock.
