Summary:A container has a seal valve 40 to seal a first opening 321, and a non-return valve 50 in a second opening 31, to allow air to flow out (e.g. gas from fermentation of coffee beans), preventing environmental air from being drawn into the storage chamber 23.  Pressure relief valve 50 may be a duckbill check valve. Pressing button 41 of seal valve 40 may allow air into the chamber 23, to help open the lid 30. Button 41 may be integrally formed with a hollow axle having a pair of retaining holes 412. A shutter 42 and a coil spring 43 may cooperate with button 41 to form the valve 40. To lift or remove lid member 30 from the hermetically sealed container body 20, button 41 can be pressed, allowing environmental air to be drawn back into the storage chamber 23, via a notch 44 in the button 41.
