Summary: | A wireless charger 30 for power transfer to the battery of an electronic device is disclosed that comprises a transmitter, a resonator, antenna or aerial and a conductive path 32 with at least two loops within a plane with opposing clockwise or anti-clockwise current flow directions. The loops may be a combination of adjacent, neighbouring or concentric rings, have more windings, form a figure of eight and may be split into sections defined by connecting conductors which may slide and alter the loop size. The smallest loop may have fewer turns and be located closer to an edge and ferrite materials 36 may be on the underside of the loop. Loop arrangements may strengthen the magnetic flux above the charger footprint and loop adjustability may alter the coupling efficiency with an electronic device. |
