Summary:A gasket 28 of flexible, resiliently deformable material, such as rubber, neoprene, EPDM or elastomeric polymer, for a door or window; where the gasket has an attachment part 24, and a sealing part made from side walls 46a & 46b and a linking wall 48. The linking wall may be convex or V-shaped such that, when compressed the linking wall straightens resulting in outward movement of the side walls. The linking portion may be off-center (50, figs 8 & 9). The gasket may also have internal walls (70, fig 11) that either extend diagonally between the linking walls (fig 8 & 9) or extend outwardly from a central location (fig 13 & 15). The attachment part of the gasket may also have a plug or rim 54 to fix in a recess 26. The recess and gasket may be co-extruded.
