Summary:An electronic shelf label is provided comprising a case, a patch antenna 131 at least partially embedded in the case to receive wireless signals, and a display unit 121 provided in the case and at least partially opened to an exterior of the case to display product information. A circuit board 140 may be provided on which the display unit is mounted and which is provided with a signal processing circuit, and a ground plane 150. The patch antenna may be shaped to provide a circularly polarized signal. The patch antenna is preferably formed in the surface of the case by and in-mold antenna scheme process.
