Summary: | A name relating to a face (201, 202) in an image (200) is determined, e.g. using face recognition, optionally with user confirmation. A first maximum length for a name bubble for the face at a first zoom level (fig. 5b) is calculated, and a part of the name (203, 204) is selected for inclusion in the bubble according to the first maximum length. A second maximum length for the bubble for the face at a second zoom level (fig. 5c) is also calculated, the first and second zoom levels being different and the first and second maximum lengths being different. A part of the name (203, 204) is selected for inclusion in the bubble for the face at the second zoom level according to the second maximum length. A shortened version of a name (e.g. initials only) may be presented at a lesser zoom level, while a longer version of the name may be displayed at a greater zoom level. The name bubble may be assigned an attribute, e.g. a colour, upon recognition of the face. No bubble may be provided if the zoom level is below a minimum. |
