Summary:In a wheel 1 and tyre 2 arrangement for lightweight vehicles, a tyre casing 2 is mounted onto a wheel 1 and a harder elastic structure 3 is installed inside the tyre casing with an inner end abutted against the wheel. A softer elastic filler 4 is filled into the tyre casing with an inner end abutted against the outer end of the harder elastic structure. This arrangement enhances the supporting strength of the tyre and the balance of the rotating tyre. Preferably the harder material 3 is foam of EVA, TPU or TPR and the softer material is liquid foam of PU or silicone.
