More Information
Summary:A method of controlling borehole pressure during non-drilling activities comprising circulating a non drilling fluid in the wellbore, setting or actuating wellbore equipment using the circulating non drilling fluid and operating an Active Pressure Differential device (APD device) 102 positioned in the wellbore to control the wellbore pressure. The non drilling activities may comprise completion or workover activities using completion or workover fluids. The non-drilling fluid may contain gravel particles. The APD reduces a dynamic pressure loss associated with the circulating non-drilling fluid.
