Summary: | A method for manufacturing of a sorbent for wet desulphurisation of flue gas, wherein the sorbent is manufactured from travertine, is characterized in that the method comprises the steps of milling and sieving the travertine to a size of less than 60 mm. The sieved travertine is milled in a roller grinding mill to a grain size of less than 100 microns. The milled travertine is activated in an electromagnetic grinder by causing the travertine grains to collide with each other using ferromagnetic grinding rods. The grinding rods constitute from 15% to 20% of the volume of the operating chamber of the electromagnetic grinder. |
