Summary:A method of re-circulating fluid in a continuous inkjet printer comprises a printer provided with multiple ink collection gutters 14, one for each inkjet, the gutters 14 being in communication with a common re-circulation pump. Ink collected in one gutter 14 is directed within a common collection chamber 16 to create a restriction to flow from another of the gutters 14, thus achieving a self-balancing arrangement.
