Summary: | An integrated circuit has input/output blocks to provide outputs from the integrated circuit and inputs to it. A power circuit provides power to the input/output blocks when the circuit is in low power mode. This maintains the state of the input output blocks. The values output on a pin of the integrated circuit may be maintained in the low power state. The power circuit is at the edge of the integrated circuit. The integrated circuit may have a signal routing path along the edge of the circuit which takes power from the power circuit and routes signals from the input/output blocks. The integrated circuit may also have a core consisting of functional blocks, such as a processor. The integrated circuit may be a system on a chip. |
