Summary:A wellhead assembly includes a tree cap 34 having a production mandrel 46 extending down into a production passage 22 of a Christmas tree to form a seal. The tree has an annulus bore 24 and an annular cavity 32 at the upper end of the tree surrounding the upper ends of the production 22 and annulus bore 24. A communication gallery 40 leads between the annulus bore 24 and the annular cavity 32. The tree cap 34 also includes an annular sealing member 44 that enters the annular cavity 32 for sealing the communication gallery 40.
