Summary:A method of sending messages over a mobile telecommunications system, the mobile telecommunications system comprising a mobile communication device attached to a mobile telecommunications network, and a storage means located within the network, the method comprising the steps of: creating, at the mobile communication device, a message, and a time stamp associated with the created message, the time stamp being associated with a time when the message is to be forwarded to the intended recipient, transmitting, from the mobile communication device, the message and time stamp to the storage means, storing, at the storage means, the message and time stamp, determining, at the mobile telecommunications network, if a cancellation message associated with the stored message has been received prior to the time associated with the time stamp, and, upon a negative determination, forwarding the message to the intended recipient from the storage means.
