Summary:The invention relates to a method and a device for feeding and fixing band-shaped filament bundles onto two parallel conveying devices (A, B) in order to produce a uniaxial or multiaxial laid structure (G) comprising at least one layer (G1, G2) of separate band-shaped filament bundle sections (FA) that are aligned in a stretched manner in one direction while being disposed next to each other on one plane. In order to prevent filament bundles in the laid structure (G) from loosening all the dles (F) or filament bundle sections (FA) are fixed in a lowering manner, by means of insertion profiles (24a, 24b), to the conveying devices (A, B) leading to a connecting station (V) in fixing elements (13a, 13b) that consist of needles (131) which are arranged in several rows like a set and whose conical tip sections (1312) point upward. The filament bundles (F) are first divided into strand-shaped sections with the aid of the tips of the set of needles (131), whereupon the and-shaped sections axe laterally deflected in a snake-like manner by means of the conical tip sections (1312) of the needles (131) and are ultimately clamped in the gaps between die needle (131) shafts (1311).
