Summary:A toothed sleeve 3 is axially displaceably mounted in a drive bearing 1 for a striking tool. The sleeve transmits a rotational movement of a drive shaft 4 to the drive bearing of the striking tool if it is in an axial position corresponding to the chiselling or percussion drilling operating modes. An axially displaceable toothed shaft 2 is also mounted in the drive bearing. The toothed sleeve transmits the rotational movement of the drive shaft to the toothed shaft if the toothed shaft is in an axial position corresponding to the drilling or percussion drilling operating modes.
