Summary:A retrieval sheet for use in retrieval of casualtier or loads, comprises a sheet 10 of woven polyamide fabric, with a turned over portion 11, and straps 12 attached to the portion 11 to act as anchoring straps, and further straps 14 are attached to the underside of sheet 10 by fasteners are used to pull the sheet along the ground thus deploying it beneath a body. The straps 14 may be arranged as cooperating with corresponding fasteners below the sheet 10 in a rectilinear arrangement, or in a divergent pattern, to also draw the sheet outwards for width-wise deployment.
