Summary: | A respiratory protection device 1 can have a mask 2 with a connection 3 and an electrical or electronic display unit 5, a gas tube 7 connects to the mask 2 at connection 3 using a plug 6. The connection 3 includes an electrical connection for the display unit 5 formed using contact studs 17, 18 and two ring-shaped strip conductors 15, 16 on the plug 6. The electrical connection could be contact less and take the form of an inductive coupling and the electrical device could be a measuring, monitoring or telemetry system or even a heated film to prevent misting of the visor 4. The gas source could be a respiratory gas tube or an automatic pulmonary system. |
