Cleaning texture roller

A roller for applying a textured finish to a decorative texturable coating eg Artex (RTM) plaster, includes a trough 1 for a water reservoir into which part of the roller surface 8 is immersed to clean the surface during use. The trough includes a lip 9 to reduce escape of water therefrom.
