Summary: | The nucleic acid sequence of the operon that includes the sequences encoding the proteins of the groES and groEL and the deduced protein sequence of said proteins. Said nucleic and protein sequences derived from Burkholderia psuedomallei. The sequences are suitable for use in preventative treatment for infections caused by Burkholderia species, in particular Edinburgh/Toronto strain of Brukholderia cepacia and as part of a diagnostic kit. The sequences may be incorporated in a vaccine. |
