Summary:Transdermal patches are disclosed, including a backing layer, a liner layer, and a monolithic adhesive and drug-containing layer between the backing layer and the liner layer. The drug-containing adhesive layer includes polyisobutylene, a plasticizer for the polyisobutylene in which the ratio of the plasticizer and the polyisobutylene is less than about 0.8 and at least 5% of a filler. The drug so utilized is moderately soluble in the plasticizer.
