Summary:An objective lens driving device used in an optical recording and/or reproduction apparatus comprises a lens holder 11, an elastic supporting means 13, a coil bobbin 12 and a yoke 31. An objective lens is mounted in the lens holder 11. The elastic supporting means 13 has one end attached to the lens holder 11 and the other end attached to a mounting part 14. The elastic supporting means support the lens holder movably in a direction parallel to the optical axis of the objective lens and in a plane perpendicular to the optical axis. A coil for focusing 12b and coils for tracking 12c are wound on the coil bobbin 12. The yoke 31 comprises an inner yoke 31a and a facing yolk 31b disposed on inner and outer sides of the coil bobbin 12 with the coils 12b, 12c between them. A magnet 32 is mounted on the inner yoke, and the width of this magnet is selected so that flux from the magnet acts only on effective portions of the coils for tracking.
