Summary:Device for detecting a position of an actuator on a printing press includes two potentiometers having respective wipers connected to the actuator and driven with mutually different transmission ratios, the two potentiometers being serially connected in a measuring circuit, and an evaluation device connected to the measuring circuit for receiving signals therefrom corresponding to measuring-circuit voltages of the potentiometers and for determining therefrom the position of the actuator.
