Summary: | On rotation of a selector knob 201, a faucet can be operated either automatically (Fig 2B) by a solenoid valve 207, 208 driven by an infrared detector, or manually, Fig 3, by a rotary sleeve valve 203, the knob 201 being mounted on the solenoid valve.
