Summary: | In a swivel connection between two fluid transporting conduits 3, 7 rotatably mounted on one another, a connection between hydraulic control conduits (14, 16 Fig. 4) rotating together with the fluid transporting conduits is provided through a slim shaft 18 which is coaxially positioned within one conduit 3 and extends into a sleeve (17) supported by the other conduit. Thereby the diameter of the coaxial sliding surfaces for transmitting control fluid may be made substantially smaller than the diameter of the fluid transporting conduits, which substantially reduces the problems associated with obtaining a reliable swivel connection between hydraulic high pressure conduits. |
