[Addition to 22,151/13.] Germination, assisting; electric treatment of grain.-After treating grain by electrolysis in a solution of a manure, nitric acid, &c, as described in the parent Specification, the grain, instead of being dried, is sprayed with petroleum or benzoline to form a coating. A wooden tank having iron electrodes covering the entire ends is used for the electrolytic treatment. Solution of sodium chloride, sugar, or iron or zinc salts may be employed |
