Ammunition receptacles.-Relates to sportsmen's cartridge bags suspended at the waistbelt, and consists in combining in such bags a uniform gusset forming the two sides and bottom of the bag, a flap adapted to be folded downwards against the back of the bag when in use, and means for supporting the bag so that it can be suspended squarely in front of the user below the waist line. The bag a, Figs. I and 3, has a uniform gusset b, and a flap c sewn to, or integral with, the back r, and adapted to be folded back clear of the mouth when the bag is in use. The bag may be suspended from the belt f by the swivel hook and ring arrangement shown in Fig. 1, or may be slung over the shoulder by the strap k. A strap n may be provided for raising the cartridges as the top layers are used, the strap being permanently secured at o, and provided at the other end with a num. ber of holes along its length, to fit on the stud p.
